Mercy Medical Center: Medicine

This is an off service rotation consisting of First Year resident. The Department of Medicine delineates responsibilities. They take weekend call at Mercy mainly.

Emergency Medicine

These are off service rotations for one 1st year resident. Responsibilities are delineated by the individual Departments. The first year resident on the ER rotation should attend Friday morning lectures. The resident on inpatient medicine remains on that rotation and is excused from Friday morning lectures.

Geriatrics

This is an off-service rotation for the second year resident. Responsibilities are delineated by the individual Departments. They take weekend call.

Elective

Rotations during the months assigned can be negotiated with the approval of Dr Johnson. Third years may need to use this for geriatrics this year only. Weekend call if in town for rotation.
