Dr. Fox joined the Faculty as a general Obstetrician-Gynecologist in July 2003. Dr. Fox attended Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine here in Baltimore and completed her residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. After residency, she completed fellowship training in Family Planning and Contraceptive Research at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Fox is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist.

Dr. Fox has also obtained a Masters of Public Health focusing in women's health research. She has participated in several research trials and published papers involving advances in contraception, miscarriage and family planning.

Dr. Fox is Director of Family Planning here at the University of Maryland. Her interests include general gynecology, contraception, and sterilization.
