Dr. Desai joined the faculty as an Instructor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences in August 2004. She is a Board Eligible Junior Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Desai received her Medical Degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Her residency training was completed here at the University of Maryland. She also completed an AAGL/SRS Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy at Utica, New York. Dr. Desai sees patients at the University’s Redwood and Penn Street sites.
